His area of expertise is Insolvency, Secured Credit Transactions, Project Finance, Oil and Gas, Investment and Securities, Medical Law, Commercial and Corporate Law.

He possesses an undisputed flair for brokering and assuring the smooth conclusion of the most complicated negotiations. He has been engaged in many capital markets, Energy, Petroleum Sharing, Maritime, Oil & Gas servicing,  Project Finance, Secured Credit, Debt Recoveries, Tax  & International finance related transactions. He has very often been instrumental to the development of ingenious and effective strategies for ensuring the success of transactions in which he is involved.

He has been involved in the management of major FDI transactions in the Nigerian Energy and Petroleum sector reviewing a number of Slickline Services Agreement, Nitrogen lifting Services Agreement, Well Integrity Investigation and Repairs Agreement, Joint Operating Agreements, Joint Venture and Operating Agreements.

Mfon’s background in Economics/Business Management has been advantageous and most useful in attaining the often desired balance between law and the exigencies of business whilst negotiating multi-million dollar transactions.

Mfon has a great passion for the indigents and oppressed. Hence the philanthropic service towards the needy and the many pro bono cases he had taken to preserve the rule of law.
